Trends Report, Spring/Summer 2009
Welcome to the new season; it's time to start thinking spring/summer 2009 trends.
First up, the failsafe options:
- Buy at least two single-shouldered or halter neck dress (one for evening and one for party time, glamorous would be best);
- Buy at least two high-neck dresses (One with front closure and one without it);
- Buy at least two strapless or spaghetti strap dresses;
- Buy at least one ruched or draped dress;
- Buy at least one sheer dress ( sleeve s or other part);
- Buy a nicely embellished poncho, bolero and kurti/ tunic;
- Buy at least two white outfits for summer daytime parties;
- Plus, if you're feeling brave and you really want to look the spring/summer 2009 part, be the first to have Anarkali/Empire waist dresses. We dare you;
- If you are keen to invest in one of the jewelleries of the season, go for zircons, pearls and gemstones;
- Plan plenty of block colour outfits;
- Customise your new purchases with blue, green, yellow, pink, lime, coral, red, and black , and practice wearing them in different combinations at once.
